When to go
Late September–October and April–May. Soft light, fewer crowds, terraces still open.
The hour: Blue hour, about 25 minutes after sunset. The tower sparkles for 5 minutes at the top of every hour after dark until the lights go off (around 23:45 — confirm on toureiffel.paris for the season).
Avoid: July–August for heat and rooftop queues; January for closed terraces.
